The new album from The Voidz, Like All Before You, makes waves in the media
September saw The Voidz release Like All Before You, their first album in six years, and to say the media world was abuzz would be putting it lightly. We were overjoyed to see writers from across the spectrum sitting down with frontman Julian Casablancas to consider at the sort of boldly experimental, brashly ambitious, and fiercely original music that only The Voidz can make.
From the Wall Street Journal to NPR. From Rolling Stone to Pitchfork. With deep dives on Apple Music and in the pages of Flood Magazine, it seemed there was nowhere you could look without hearing about this groundbreaking record.
Across radio waves around the world, Julian spoke with Matt Pinfield for The SoCalSound and Huw Stephenson for BBC 6. It was refreshing to hear a world-renowned rocker take the time to offer insights into his creative process and amidst the whirlwind of coverage to hear some calming tidbits about finding peace in the madness.
