Hey ONErpm family! We know sometimes a release doesn’t always go as planned. Maybe you weren’t happy with your previous distributor, and are looking to join the #onerpmfam. Perhaps you put a song out through your ONErpm dashboard and have since decided you’d like it off streaming platforms. Either way, we’re here to break down the best way to issue takedowns and migrate your catalog.
How Do I Issue Takedowns For An Album Or Single?
Looking to take down a track that had already been uploaded? We understand that changes in platforms happen. If you want to leave the best digital music platform in the world and follow paths not facilitated by our technology, that’s okay. Just head to Tickets under the Support menu. Once there, submit a ticket with the album data and the reasons why you are requesting any takedowns. Our team will receive your request and after an evaluation, and will respond with the next steps.
If the album has not yet been distributed, just click on Delete Album in your control panel. If the album has already been distributed, it is important to know that it will not be allowed to be deleted from your ONErpm account. Even after applying takedown to your album, digital platforms can pass us streams/sales values. Therefore your album needs to be kept in your account at ONErpm. This way, our system is able to identify the account and complete the transfer of payments in the correct amounts to the artist.
