Nigerian Rapper and Ogun State Youth Ambassador joins ONErpm
LAYCON is a Nigerian media personality, rapper and singer songwriter. He is the winner of Big Brother Naija season 5 and is currently the youth ambassador of Ogun State, Nigeria since October 6th, 2020.
LAYCON is a Lagos born and bread artist. He started out his musical journey very early, developing his art from secondary school. He got introduced to Hip-Hop and rap music and later on crossed over to other genres of music.
In 2014, he was among the ten artists that performed at the 2014 Cake Studio University of Lagos event. He was also a top ten finalist of the 2017 MTV base LSB challenge.
LAYCON’s consistency and creativity was noticed by several record labels and in late 2018 he signed to Fierce Nation, a budding record label known for their positive work with several young, talented Nigerian creatives.
He is a graduate of the university of Lagos distinguished from his peers by his intelligence and affinity for the arts. A graduate of Philosophy, his talent for music is undeniable, creating collaborations with the likes of Reminisce and Chinko Ekun.
